SOL just printed a fresh bullish BoS on the 4H two bars ago, taking out the 105.91 swing high that had capped price for the last 18 bars. Trend bias is up, EMA55 sits at 102.16 and EMA21 at 103.77, so the trend backbone is stacked cleanly beneath price. We're trading 105.77 โ right at the old swing and hugging the upper half of the volatility band (upper edge at 106.46).
Why it matters: the break flipped a lid into a launchpad. Prior structure showed a higher low at 97.38 that's still open, and the window high at 110.60 is the obvious magnet if bulls press. What I want to see is a retest โ price dipping back toward the broken 105.91 shelf or EMA21 near 103.77 and holding. That's the cleanest re-entry read on this setup.
The setup activates on a hold above 105.90 after any pullback, ideally with the band expanding rather than price stalling under 106.46. Invalidation is a 4H close back below EMA55 at 102.16 โ that puts the BoS in doubt and re-opens the range.
Targets I'm watching: first, 106.46 as the band upper edge (initial resistance test); second, 108.50 as a clean round-number stop en route; third, 110.60, the window high and the natural extension if this leg has legs.
Setup: Retest and hold of the broken 105.91 swing (or EMA21 near 103.77) activates continuation.
Invalidation: 4H close back below EMA55 at 102.16 puts the bullish BoS in doubt.
Targets: 106.46 โ volatility band upper edge, first resistance test ยท 108.50 โ round-number waypoint on the way up ยท 110.60 โ window high, the natural extension target
