Crypto heavyweight CZ (Changpeng Zhao) attended the third official meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s National Crypto Council in his personal capacity, with the meeting chaired by President Japarov.
The discussion covered the regulatory framework, compliance, anti-money laundering and anti-fraud measures, stablecoins, and a specific tokenization pilot project.
After the meeting, CZ said that Kyrgyzstan has made clear progress over the past year, moving from the concept stage to actual implementation, with a crypto regulatory framework, crypto transaction channels at local banks, and the stablecoin KGST already in circulation.
Kyrgyzstan is pushing forward the regulatory framework, stablecoins, and the tokenization pilot project together under a crypto council personally led by the president.
