🔥 The gap is quite obvious; short liquidations were nearly 1.8 times the amount of long liquidations. Honestly, many people may think shorting is safer, but once prices move up quickly, highly leveraged positions simply can’t hold up, and a cascade of liquidations follows.

👀 By coin, BTC contract liquidations totaled $23.4011 million, while ETH reached $46.3504 million. ETH liquidations were nearly twice BTC’s, and in this round of contract liquidations, ETH traders were clearly having a harder time.

⚠️ The largest single liquidation occurred on GATE’s ETH_USDT contract, with a single order of $5.0965 million.
