Real Bedford, a small English football club, is aiming to become a global Bitcoin brand. According to ChainCatcher, the club was acquired by podcast host Peter McCormack in 2022 and has attracted fans worldwide after raising $4.5 million from Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss.

The club allows fans to use Bitcoin to buy tickets, food, and merchandise. Some players and staff are paid partly or entirely in Bitcoin. Its long-term goals are to reach the English Football League, build a new stadium and youth academy, and show that the global Bitcoin community can help transform a local club.
