Why is ETH included in 150X again? #ETH #比特币以太坊触及数月高点

Recently, I noticed a pretty interesting change:

Some platforms have directly raised the maximum leverage for BTC and ETH perpetual contracts to 150X.

Let me make this clear first —
150X absolutely does not mean you should go open 150x leverage.

On the contrary, what I think is really worth discussing is:

Why BTC and ETH again?

How many “new kings” has the crypto world seen over the years?

In the last cycle, everyone talked about public chain performance; in this cycle, people started talking about MEME, AI, RWA, stablecoins, on-chain finance...

ETH is questioned almost every so often:

"It’s too slow."
"Gas is too expensive."
"L2 is siphoning away its value."
"New public chains are going to replace it."

Some of these criticisms are not without merit.

But what’s interesting is that when the market truly needs liquidity, derivatives depth, stablecoins, DeFi, RWA, and institutional-grade infrastructure, ETH is still unavoidable.

That’s the biggest difference between ETH and many altcoins.

The logic for many coins is:

Price goes up → the market starts looking for a narrative.

ETH is increasingly like:

The ecosystem and capital are already there → the market rethinks what it’s actually worth.

So now when I look at ETH, I no longer really treat it as a normal "altcoin."

BTC is more like the core asset of the crypto world,
SOL is more like a high-performance consumer-grade public chain,
ZEC is betting on the privacy narrative,

while what ETH really wants to do may be bigger:

Become the underlying settlement layer of the entire on-chain financial world.

150X itself is not the important part.

What matters is that after so many bull and bear cycles, and so many times of "ETH being replaced" —

Why is ETH still sitting at the center of the table whenever the market moves back toward mainstream capital?

That’s the question I think is most worth thinking about.

If this round of capital really starts expanding outward from BTC,

do you think ETH can prove itself again?

Let’s discuss in the comments.

This is only a personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice. High leverage will significantly amplify risk.
