Hello, future investor in the cryptocurrency market!

You’ve probably heard a lot about Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other "hot" coins and are wondering where to start. One of the biggest questions for beginners is: "How can I buy and sell crypto with Vietnamese Dong safely and without being scammed?".

The answer lies in **Binance P2P** – a decentralized "exchange marketplace" where you trade directly with other sellers/buyers, and Binance acts as an intermediary to protect the rights of both parties. It may sound complicated, but in fact it is simpler and safer than you think if you understand the golden rules below.

**Understand the nature of P2P: Not an auction, but an agreement**

Unlike trading on the spot market at a listed price, P2P lets you choose a seller based on their exchange rate, payment method (bank, MoMo wallet, ZaloPay...) and reputation. You will see hundreds of "partners" offering to sell. Think of it like entering a traditional market: some sellers are expensive, some are cheap, some are reputable, and some are known for overcharging. Your job is to find the best seller and follow the rules of that market.

**Principle 1: Choose the "golden" partner – Check carefully before clicking**

This is the most important step, accounting for 90% of your safety. Never rush to choose the person with the lowest price. Take 30 seconds to look at the following indicators:

* **Completion Rate:** Absolutely avoid anyone below 95%. The higher the rate, the more reliably they pay.

* **Trades:** Prioritize people with hundreds or thousands of completed trades. This shows they have experience and are well-established in the trade.

* **Feedback:** Read a few recent comments. If anyone complains about "slow payment," "requesting order cancellation," or "reporting to the police," stay away.

* **Badge:** Look for market makers with the "Verified" or "Golden Merchant" badge. They are highly rated by Binance and often have dedicated support, minimizing dispute risk.

**Principle 2: Always trade in Binance's "chat box"**

Never transfer money or chat via Telegram, Zalo, WhatsApp, or any other external platform. Why? Because in the event of a dispute, Binance will only consider evidence within its chat system and order history. If you transfer money outside the platform on your own and get scammed, you will have no evidence to file a complaint. Treat Binance's chat box as your only "courtroom".

**Principle 3: The "unbreakable" 4-step process**

Once you have chosen a seller and clicked "Buy USDT," follow this exact sequence:

1. **Receive the order:** You will see the seller's information and the amount to transfer. Carefully check the bank name, account number, and account holder (the full name must match the verified information on Binance).

2. **Transfer money:** Send the money from your banking app to the correct account number. Make sure to enter the transfer note correctly if required (usually the order code).

3. **Click "Paid":** After the transfer succeeds, open the Binance app and click **"I have paid"**. At this point, the crypto will be "frozen" by Binance in the seller's account. They cannot run off with your money.

4. **Wait to receive the coin:** The seller will check their bank account. Once they confirm they have received the full amount, they will press "Release," and the USDT will go into your Spot wallet immediately.

**Never click "Paid" before you have actually completed the transfer.** If you click too early, the seller may refuse to release the coin because they have not received the money yet, leading to a prolonged dispute.

**Principle 4: What to do when the seller is "stuck" or makes unusual requests**

Sometimes, the seller will say: "I haven't received the money" or "You transferred too little, or too much." Stay calm. Check your bank transfer history again. If you sent the correct amount, provide a screenshot or bank statement in the chat. If they deliberately delay or ask you to cancel the order to trade again off-platform, refuse and click the **"Appeal"** button. Binance will investigate. Usually, they will side with you if you have valid proof of transfer.

**Important note on account security**

* **Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)** for both email and phone number.

* **Never share your 2FA code, password, or backup codes** with anyone, including fake Binance support staff.

* Be careful of calls from people claiming to be "Binance support staff" asking you to verify your account. Binance will never call you directly to request your password.

**Conclusion: Be a smart trader**

Binance P2P is an excellent, transparent, and secure tool if you know how to use it. It helps you avoid the scam risks that come with trading "under the table" through groups. However, remember that the crypto market is always volatile. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
