Apple CEO John Ternus is preparing for his first major product event since succeeding Tim Cook, with a foldable iPhone expected to headline the September 9 launch, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Hardware Analyst Woo Jin Ho said on Bloomberg This Weekend that Ternus’ engineering background could refocus Apple on hardware and expanding its ecosystem as smartphone upgrades become increasingly incremental.
