On Saturday night, the market barely moved, and I actually got a little restless. So I pulled Mantou over to keep me company while I stretched; it sprawled on my legs, purring away, while I stared blankly at the ceiling. Suddenly I felt that people are pretty much the same as this cat—busy chasing rises and cutting losses, busy finding things to do for themselves, but in fact the most comfortable moments are when you do nothing at all. I used to always want to squeeze some meaning out of life, but later I realized that being able to steal a moment of blankness in the gaps between busyness is the most precious thing. Mantou fell asleep, the rain stopped too, and life is just like this—pretty good. 🌧️ #独居生活 #30-year-old self-reconciliation
