Nonfarm payrolls added 162,000 jobs, nearly triple expectations, and rate-cut expectations were instantly pushed to the max. Bitcoin plunged 2% in just three minutes, dropping from 81k to 79.5k.
In my view, this is a normal pullback. Over the past 30 days, Bitcoin has risen by about 25%.
It’s like running: after a high-intensity sprint, you naturally have to slow down, catch your breath, and steady your pace.
The truly dangerous part right now is not the correction, but forgetting that the overall trend has been upward all along.
On the daily chart, 78k is the recent low support. If it holds, the price can continue to move higher; if it can’t, then we need to consider a trend reversal.
