Gold and silver saw a slight fluctuation today. Gold fell 0.83% to 4438, and silver fell 0.88% to 66.27. Both have dropped less than 1% over the past 7 days, basically moving sideways in consolidation. The gold long-short ratio is 2.1, the silver long-short ratio is 3.35, and on OKX silver even surged to 4.46. Retail bullish sentiment is still relatively strong, but prices just can't move higher, indicating that the main players are using the opportunity to distribute holdings. This silver long-short ratio is still relatively high. Although it has fallen a lot from the previous 6+ level, anything above 3.5 is still considered overheated, so chasing the rally is not cost-effective.
