According to Wallstreetcn, U.S. federal district judge Trevor McFadden on September 4 rejected a temporary restraining order request filed by Stars and Stripes publisher Max Lederer, editor-in-chief Eric Slevin, and Middle East reporter Lara Korte, allowing the U.S. Department of Defense to continue moving forward with their dismissals. The judge said the three had not yet shown that their First Amendment rights were likely to be violated.
