September 5, 2026.

Previously, I bought 20% each of BNB and OKB, and started dollar-cost averaging.

Plan to keep dollar-cost averaging until the end of the year to complete the position build-up.

Right now my position is only a little over 40%.

Average cost of OKB: $110.3, average cost of BNB: $701.

By the end of the year, the average cost may be pushed up a bit, or pulled down a bit, but that’s all just minor details.

The important thing is to consistently stick to your goals.

And go through countless “local pullbacks” + “local highs.”

Investing takes time, and it also takes patience.

Even if other coins are seeing big gains, don’t chase them.

Maybe the coins you hold will all be “local highs” this year, and only see major gains next year or later, but you must resist the temptation.

(09/05, 26) Brother Cai’s Daily Insight:

You can’t possibly catch every coin that surges.

If you could catch every coin that surges, after a few times you’d be richer than nations—but catching every explosive move is almost impossible.

Past performance does not indicate future performance.

Coins that perform strongly this year may lag far behind the market next year; everything is cyclical.

There is no asset that only rises and never falls.

Being unable to view investing with a long-term perspective and always chasing highs and dumping lows because of short-term fluctuations is our biggest enemy.

Eager to get rich quick, choosing to chase junk coins is the root cause of bankruptcy.

Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Investing is the same; long-term compounding is far more important than short-term games.

If you only watch short-term ups and downs, you can’t possibly achieve excess returns.
