ROBINHOOD CHAIN SUFFERS OUTAGE 🚨👀📉

Block production on Robinhood Chain suddenly froze for over 6 minutes on 4 September 2026, stretching to roughly 14 minutes before new blocks moved again. During that stall, zero transactions confirmed on the network, leaving about 8,400 expected blocks unproduced. ⛓️⏳

The Layer 2 network launched on 1 July 2026 to settle stock tokens and crypto trades for millions of users. It runs on the Arbitrum Nitro tech stack, but it relies on a single sequencer (a single master server that organizes and submits all network transactions). 💻⚡

When that single sequencer gets stuck:
🛑 Transactions sit frozen in line
🛑 Users cannot trade, deposit, or exit positions
🛑 There is no backup sequencer to automatically catch the load

Making things more stressful for traders, Robinhood did not post any notice on its main status page during the stall, leaving users to check block explorers to see if the network was alive. 📉👀

Block production has resumed, but the incident puts a spotlight on single points of failure across corporate Layer 2 networks handling institutional money. 🏛️⚠️

Would you trust a single sequencer with your stocks? 👇
