Nobody Talks About This DeFi Risk
$972 million. 207 hacks. Just in the first half of this year.
The biggest single hits weren't random — they came from broken price oracles feeding wrong data into "audited" protocols. Audited doesn't mean unhackable. It means someone checked the code once.
Before you ape into any DeFi protocol:
1️⃣ Check who provides its price feed
2️⃣ Check if the protocol had a recent oracle exploit history
3️⃣ Never park more than you can afford to lose in unproven yield farms
The protocols that get hacked are usually the ones everyone trusted the most. Trust is not a security model.
