News about the listing hasn’t been finalized yet—why have some coins already surged 20%, 50%, 70%?
I just saw the MarsCoin market data: its market cap briefly spiked to 198 million, up 77.8% in 24 hours, and has since fallen back into the 170 million range. Nearly all of this round of volatility points to the expectation window created by the exchange’s listing announcement.
My observation is that the real trading volume usually doesn’t appear on the announcement day itself, but rather in the 24–72 hours before it. In that window, the capital is the most aggressive—yet volatility is also at its highest.
So when you look at announcements, pay attention to the timing both before and after. Don’t chase the price—take profit when you can.
