POL This move has a bit of a strange taste to it 👀

In the last 15 minutes it fell another 1.22%. At the close it directly smashed through the lower edge of nearly 20 consecutive 5-minute K lines—bearish short-term signals have definitely been issued. More importantly, OI is rising while price is falling. Open interest is being pushed higher, but the notional amount is shrinking. That doesn’t look like longs simply cutting positions; it looks more like newly added leveraged short positions are stepping in and taking over.

Let’s also look at the aggressive trade imbalance: -31.8%. The buy/sell ratio is down to just 0.52. In the order book, shorts are clearly dominating with orders being consumed. This isn’t the kind of slow grind lower on low volume—it’s people genuinely throwing real money to push it down. Trading volume is up to 6x normal levels; it’s not a random fluctuation. The capital is actively choosing a direction.

To be honest, POL is currently ranked 12th in the pool by extreme percentile abnormalities, and its volume is also abnormally amplified. This kind of “volume-price + open interest + order book” triple confirmation move means short-term bearish sentiment hasn’t fully released yet. Don’t rush to bottom-pick. Wait until it drops into the historical extreme range, then watch for a secondary reversal signal—otherwise you may end up catching a falling knife.
