Binance officially launches its card in Venezuela: what is it for?

The Binance platform has enabled the Binance Card in Venezuela, a virtual card that links the digital assets available in the account to an international payment network.

The card allows the assets assigned to the account to be used to process purchases at merchants that accept Mastercard.

The card’s global program is operated together with Immersve, a company registered in New Zealand. Currently, the product is an exclusively virtual card, so it does not include delivery of a physical plastic card.

What is the Binance Card for?

The card is designed for online payments and can be used at merchants that accept Mastercard.

Binance states that its program allows users to spend cryptocurrencies at more than 90 million online and physical locations worldwide, although the available features may vary by country and each user’s eligibility.
