The data showed a significant increase in the spot trading volume of XRP across a range of the largest crypto exchanges, reaching its highest level since last February in August—an indication of the return of activity and liquidity to the XRP market after a period of relative decline.
According to the data, the total monthly trading volume on the listed platforms reached about $20.34 billion during August, compared with far lower levels in the preceding months, reflecting a clear rise in traders’ interest in XRP.
Binance topped the list of platforms by trading volume, with approximately $7.28 billion in August, capturing the largest share of recorded activity. Upbit came in second with a volume of around $4.68 billion, while Bithumb Korea recorded about $2.59 billion.
As for the other platforms, Bybit recorded around $1.40 billion, followed by Gate.io with about $1.33 billion, and then KuCoin with roughly $1.23 billion. Trading volume on Bitget was about $918.5 million, while Coinbase recorded approximately $915.4 million.#xrp
