Everyone is shouting, “BTC is building momentum and a breakout is imminent,” but my judgment is exactly the opposite—there will likely be a pullback first in the short term.

There are three reasons:

① On-chain capital inflow is slowing down. The influx of new funds is clearly weaker than the price performance. Upward moves propped up by existing inventory of coins are always fragile; once sentiment turns, it can lead to a rapid sell-off.

② Too much market consensus is itself a risk. When retail traders, KOLs, and institutions all cheer for the upside at the same time, it often means the potential sell pressure has already built up sufficiently—“an opportunity everyone knows about” is usually not an opportunity.

③ The macro liquidity window hasn’t opened yet. Although rate-cut expectations exist, the real liquidity inflection point has not been confirmed. Before macros give a signal, rallies in the crypto market are more like an advance payment of the move—the more you advance, the longer the drawdown period.

I’m not bearish on the long-term logic of $BTC ; I just think the cost-effectiveness of chasing longs from the current position is very low—wait patiently for a decent pullback; that’s the real buying opportunity.
