GLP said it has begun developing a new hyperscale data center park in Foshan, a city in southern China, with planned investment of about 4 billion yuan ($600 million). According to Sina Finance, the company said the park is being built for an unnamed leading internet and cloud services company.
According to the company statement, the fully completed park is expected to support up to 200 megawatts of power capacity, with the first phase set at 40 megawatts.
