Last night, BTC surged directly from around 77,000 to 82,300, reclaiming the entire drop from all of August. ETH rose in sync, up 4.5%; it tapped the 2,500 threshold and then slipped back—long orders were placed around this level, so the reaction is fast on the short term.
Today, what I’m watching is the ETH/BTC ratio. In the past two weeks, Bitcoin has outperformed strongly, while Ethereum has been following down rather than following up. With that move last night, ETH finally caught up, but the ratio hasn’t fully repaired yet—this suggests that capital is still prioritizing BTC, and ETH’s catch-up upside is limited. This kind of divergence structure usually isn’t a signal of a style switch; it’s more like chasing the move and timing the entry. For real rotation, BTC needs to stabilize first.
In terms of execution, I won’t chase. BTC between 82,000 and 83,000 is a dense trading zone, so when price pushes up from below, short-term disagreement is inevitable. Wait and see—maybe there will be a pullback opportunity in the 79,000–80,000 range. 2,500 is the dividing line for ETH; only after it holds should we talk about going long. If it breaks, wait for price to come down—don’t force it.
No rush. I’ll wait for the market to tell me the next step.
