Attention Everyone‼️Let me tell you why you lose money in crypto even on trades that were already winning.
One big reason? You don’t know how to use a trailing stop loss properly.
It’s actually very simple.
When your trade starts moving in profit, you don’t have to keep your stop loss at the original level. You can slowly move it upward and lock your profit.
So if the market suddenly reverses or gives a manipulation wick, you don’t watch a winning trade turn into a losing one.
You can trail it in different ways:
🐩TP by TP
🐩Percentage by percentage
🐩Or below each new support / higher low
For Example:
Today I entered BTC long around $76.4K.
Now BTC has reached $81K. That’s already a crazy profitable trade.
But why should I close 100% here?
Maybe BTC breaks the resistance, moves toward $82K and eventually pushes much higher.
So instead, I can book 80% of the profit, secure the money, and keep the remaining 20% running with my stop loss already in profit.
If BTC dumps back → I’m protected.
If BTC keeps pumping → I’m still inside the move.
That’s the beauty of trailing stop loss.
You don’t regret closing too early.
And you don’t regret watching a winning trade turn into a loss.
As a scalper, protecting profit is just as important as finding the perfect entry.
