Huang Renxun’s latest remarks at the G20:

1. AI is the power grid of the new era
At its core, AI is an economic infrastructure like electricity. In the past, you bought electricity based on kilowatt-hours. In the future, you’ll buy computing power based on millions of Tokens.

2. AI is a five-layer cake—there’s no need to squeeze in and fight me for business
The AI industry is divided into five layers from bottom to top: 1. Energy → 2. Chips → 3. Computing power infrastructure → 4. AI large models → 5. Data and industry applications.

Find the layer that suits you best—especially the 5th layer applications. When you apply AI to healthcare, manufacturing, and education, you’ll be able to benefit from the AI dividend.

3. The programming era is completely over, and humanity is entering the greatest era of equality
Over the past 50 years, computers were a tool reserved for only two or three tens of millions of programmers worldwide. Now, whether you’re a young person fresh out of school or you’re in a region with limited resources, AI levels the technical playing field—so everyone can have, anytime, a top PhD-level “smart brain.”

4. AI won’t make you lose your job, but it will amplify your ambition 10-fold
In the next one or two years, AGI will basically be achieved, but humans won’t be unemployed. It’s like hiring a top PhD graduate from MIT—you still need to set goals for them, provide context, and help them get familiar with the business. What AI replaces are specific tasks like typing and searching for information—not a person’s value. What used to take 10 years can be done in 1 year.

5. AI is moving out of the screen and reshaping the physical world
AI’s development path is: large models → agents → embodied intelligence. Give a large model a kind of exoskeleton that can call tools; with four wheels it becomes autonomous driving; with a robotic arm it becomes an intelligent factory; and in a lab it enables autonomous R&D of new drugs. AI is moving from pure software to fully invading manufacturing and heavy industry.

The biggest risk isn’t AI itself—it’s fear and hesitation, which ultimately causes you to be eliminated by the times!
