Iran announces new attacks against Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, aiming to strike U.S. bases.
The Iranian army said it had attacked U.S. military installations in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates with missiles and drones early Thursday morning, claiming the strikes damaged communications systems and hangars for fighter aircraft.
This morning, the army attacked with missiles and drones the satellite communications systems, equipment depots, and fighter aircraft hangars of the U.S.-backed terrorist army at the Ahmad al-Jaber airbase in Kuwait,” the army said in a statement broadcast by state television.
The attacks were part of the 31st phase of its “Saeqeh” operations and were described as retaliation for the deaths of innocent people and Iranian armed forces members following the U.S. attacks on Tuesday, the Army added.
