CoinDesk reports that Bitcoin has already formed a bullish crossover. This signal has a mixed track record in the cryptocurrency market, with quite a few failed calls.

But this time is a little different: the USDT supply data is adding more bullish weight.

Just looking at the moving-average crossover can be misleading. CoinDesk’s point is that changes in USDT issuance quantity reflect the real demand behind the scenes better than moving averages. When stablecoins are minted and issued steadily, it often indicates that capital is moving in to accumulate and stock up.

The technical setup and on-chain fund flow also line up—only then is the signal more reliable.

So what’s worth watching now is whether the USDT supply curve can continue to rise steeply. That’s more valuable than obsessing over whether two moving averages stay stuck together. Whether the golden cross can ultimately be realized depends on whether subsequent capital keeps the momentum going.
