Cardano’s much-anticipated RealFi project will officially launch its mainnet on October 1. The concept is simple: the interest from U.S. Treasury bonds backing traditional stablecoins is mostly taken by companies; RealFi issues its own stablecoin, USDR—after staking in exchange for sUSD, you receive most of the yield generated from the U.S. Treasury bills and cash backing it. The drawback is that the new stablecoin is just listed, so liquidity is still a relatively big issue. Whether people will use it and whether usage can be sustained is worth monitoring—but it is a project that many people are paying close attention to on 2026 $ADA .
