According to a statement from South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT, South Korea has selected a consortium led by Naver Cloud to develop an artificial intelligence foundation model focused on cybersecurity. The government will provide the consortium with 256 Nvidia B200 GPUs starting in September for a 10-month period. South Korea plans to sign an agreement with the consortium this month and begin research and development on the cybersecurity model. The selection review covered technical strength, development experience and planning, project feasibility, market potential, and expected impact.
