The London Stock Exchange is teaming up with Payward, the parent company of Kraken, to explore tokenized UK public equities. The initiative will bring 1:1-backed xStocks representing the 100 largest UK-listed companies into on-chain markets.

Subject to regulatory approval, the LSE plans to list xStocks on its LSE 24 venue in 2027, connecting traditional market infrastructure with digital-native access.
