An air force suit at 67,000: a confession🥲
Bitcoin started around 62,000 and climbed all the way up to 81,500
Now a lot of people are saying, how could you open a short at such a bad position?
Back then, when Bitcoin couldn’t even hold above 64,000 and couldn’t break 66,000, why didn’t you say anything? Bitcoin’s a fast rally of more than ten thousand points—it’s not a slow, step-by-step climb.
That kind of aggressive rally isn’t continuous. A lot of people were shouting about 100,000, but it hasn’t even reached that yet—first it comes back to around 77,000. But my short position is still in floating loss, so I have to say this trade really has a lot of participation and involvement 😂😂😂
The good news is that there’s already band-trade profit closed out: $5,996. Funding rate income: $1,166. Minus trading fees, the actual realized profit/loss is about $6,871.
But currently, the floating loss from the open position is still around $18,000. When you add everything up inside and out, overall we’re still losing—about $11,000 USD in the red.
I also won’t pretend that because I put on shorts, Bitcoin is definitely about to crash immediately. Objectively speaking, the overall big trend hasn’t fully turned bad yet. It’s risen too fast before, and the short-term is a bit overheated, but the bulls still haven’t completely lost control.
Next, the key focus is: can 75,000—74,000 hold firm? Only if it breaks below 72,000 will the short side have a real chance again.
For now, I’ll continue doing swing recovery at suitable levels. This is my usual playbook for getting stuck: always control position sizing, don’t predict the market—just do my part.
Also, my short orders at 82,000 and the additional final batch—I did put them up, but they really haven’t been triggered. Since the market doesn’t follow my position, I can only adjust my trading according to the price action.
And to my bull-side friends—remember to control your position size. Don’t end up exploding before I do 😄😄😄
