$BTC
BTC/USDT | LIQUIDITY SWEEP + MSS: LOOKING FOR THE LONG IN NY

$BTC arrives at the New York session after a sequence that, from my reading, begins to favor a bullish scenario.

On 5M, I have three elements that interest me:

1️⃣ Liquidity Sweep

Price sweeps the liquidity below the previous lows and then reclaims the area.

2️⃣ MSS

After the sweep, a Market Structure Shift (MSS) appears, showing a change in short-term dynamics.

3️⃣ Return to the area of interest

Price moves back toward the POC area, which also aligns with the PWL, where I’m looking for the reaction to define the entry.

That’s why my main scenario is LONG, but not by anticipation.

🟢 LONG SETUP

Entry: $76,610
SL: $76,344
TP: $77,234
R:R: ~1:2.3

The idea is that once the entry zone is defended, price should first seek the liquidity located around $77,000 (EQH) and then continue toward the upper zone, where we have the FVG.

The $77,000 level is especially important: I don’t see it as just an intermediate target, but as an area where a reaction could appear, and where it would make sense to partially manage the position.

What would invalidate the idea?

A clear loss of the $76,600 zone / POC—especially if price moves back down toward the lows and loses the PDL—would considerably weaken the LONG scenario.

I don’t need to be right about the direction from the very first move.

My reading is:
Liquidity Sweep → MSS → Retest → displacement → search for higher liquidity.

Now we just need to see whether New York confirms my read or invalidates it.

The market doesn’t have to do what I expect.
I only need it to do what my setup requires.
