To be honest, truly high-odds opportunities are usually hammered out by solid evidence. With this drop—$ZEC —I’ve been watching it for a long time. The sense I get from the chart right now is this: the short-side structure hasn’t finished playing out yet. In the privacy coin sector, sentiment comes fast and leaves just as fast. The speed at which the last round slid down from the highs was something everyone could see—those kinds of waterfalls can’t be explained by a simple pullback; it’s the result of capital voting with its feet. Not to mention the earlier flash crash, which directly shattered the market’s trust in it. Now the price has been hovering in one area for a moment, but I don’t see any sign that volume has actually taken it. The rebounds are on shrinking volume. In plain terms, this kind of bounce is just letting trapped holders breathe—not a reversal signal.

When we do analysis, the biggest fear is turning “it has fallen a lot” into “it should go up now.” ZEC is in a pretty awkward position. Above it, trapped-holder layers stack up one after another—every step higher means more selling pressure. Below, once it breaks down, it becomes the familiar vacuum zone. In my own risk/reward framework, under this kind of structure, the payoff just isn’t worth it. Catching falling knives against the trend is worse than simply going with the trend and watching how it plays out. From the 4-hour structure, the highs are getting lower, and the lows are being tested repeatedly. It’s moving step by step inside a classic descending channel. Someone might ask: after it’s fallen so much, shouldn’t we be bottom-fishing? My counter-question is: if it really has bottomed out, why are every rebound so feeble?

Why hasn’t the news flow delivered any substantial positive catalyst to change the supply-demand setup? In trading, don’t fight the market. Once a trend forms, inertia is often bigger than we imagine. What I care about now is when it will accelerate—not guessing that so-called “bottom” in the middle of the decline. This weakness in $ZEC has been going on for more than a day. Trading with the trend is stronger than anything else.
