Wall Street is slowly turning into crypto - SEC is preparing the U.S. stock market for 24-hour trading. 🗽

On September 17, the SEC will hold a roundtable on how the market should work when trading moves closer to 24/7.

They will discuss exactly the boring things that actually matter:

- overnight liquidity
- broker and exchange readiness
- clearing and settlement
- market surveillance
- cybersecurity
- infrastructure that can work without “market sleep”

And this is where it gets interesting: the SEC has already been opening the door to tokenized securities, including stocks represented on blockchain rails.

So the direction is clear - traditional markets are copying crypto’s strongest feature: markets that don’t close.

My take: crypto did the beta test for 24/7 finance. Now Wall Street wants the same thing, but with suits, clearing houses and regulators. 👀
