If you look at the crypto market over the last month, August turned out like a roller coaster: first there was silence and nerves, then a sharp surge — and by the end everyone started remembering their Binance password again 😄
📊 What happened over the month?
🟠 Bitcoin: about +25% for August — the best monthly performance since November 2024.
🔵 Ethereum: about +32.5% — ETH turned out even more upbeat than Bitcoin.
Altcoins also perked up: the market showed that money started flowing in again—not only into BTC.
But there’s an interesting point.
After such a strong August, the market enters September not with empty pockets, but with solid profits. And some participants may decide:
“Thanks, crypto, it was fun. I’m going to lock in the profits” 😂
🍁 What could happen in autumn?
I see three main scenarios.
🟢 Bullish scenario
If BTC holds near current levels and can confidently reclaim $80,000+, the market may continue moving upward.
Then attention may gradually shift to ETH and strong altcoins.
In that case, autumn can turn from a “September correction” into a continuation of the August move.
🟡 A seesaw scenario
In my view, this is one of the most realistic options right now.
The market may do it a few times:
📈 “EVERYTHING, LET’S GO TO THE MOON!”
and in a couple of days:
📉 “OR MAYBE, STILL BACK TO EARTH?” 😂
Reason — crypto’s high sensitivity to Fed rate decisions, inflation, and economic data. In September, especially important will be U.S. data and rate expectations.
🔴 Bearish scenario
Don’t forget about seasonality, either.
Historically, September is often a weak month for Bitcoin, and after a strong August rally, the odds of profit-taking become higher.
If BTC loses key support levels, the correction can quickly spill over to altcoins.
And then we’ll get the classic crypto show:
BTC -5% → alts -15% → memecoins -40% → the investor opens the fridge and checks whether there are any dumplings left. 😂
🔥 My assumption
I wouldn’t treat autumn as unambiguously “bullish” or “bearish.”
After such a powerful August, the market could well first stage a correction and only then choose a direction.
The main thing now is not to try to predict every candle.
Because the crypto market knows how to do its favorite thing:
you expect a drop—it's rising.
you buy—it falls.
you sell—it reverses. 😂
So autumn could turn out to be very interesting.
📌 August showed the strength of the buyers.
September will show how real this strength is.
And October–November could already give a much clearer answer about the market’s next direction.
What do you think?
🍂 In autumn, will we see continued growth, or will the market first set up a big correction?
