The narrative main line of 2026—robots (Physical AI) are one of them. The reason is very simple: AI large models have already consumed all the text on the internet. The next step is to make robots truly capable of doing real work. What’s missing is human-behavior data from operating physical objects—this kind of data simply doesn’t exist on the internet. So the only option is to have people “teach” repeatedly, step by step.
What Axis Robotics is doing is this business. It breaks robot training into simulated tasks on the web: you control a robotic arm in your browser to pick, place, and adjust its posture. Every action you take is recorded, put on-chain, and becomes training data for the robot’s foundation model. No need to buy hardware—just a computer is enough to participate.
Why it’s worth spending the time:
1. The money is in place. In July this year, Axis completed a $12 million seed round. Hack VC led the investment, with Nomad Capital, Pi Network, and 10K Ventures following. Hack VC is famously picky in the DePIN space, and this round of funding was also specifically mentioned by Odaily and BlockBeats in their robotic track roundups. Only well-funded projects can afford to offer incentives.
2. The airdrop is confirmed, not “rumors.” Currently, the Hub offers various types of tasks such as testnet, social, and games. You complete tasks to accumulate points and badges. The team hasn’t公布 the snapshot time or allocation ratio yet—meaning that people who enter now have accounts that are still at the very beginning in terms of age and task volume.
3. The cost is zero. No top-ups, no need to buy mining rigs, and no staking. What you pay is only your time. This is already very rare in the 2026 airdrop environment.
4. Dual ecosystem. Axis is connected to both the BitRobot Subnet. With the same set of operations, you can earn incentives on both sides. The specific rules are subject to the official announcements.
How to get started (about 10 minutes):
Open the registration link on a computer (mobile experience is worse; controlling the robotic arm requires a mouse).
Choose any login method: email / Google / X / wallet.
Go to the Hub, find Task, watch the tutorial, and start with the simplest grabbing tasks to get the feel.
The key is stability and quality—not just boosting volume. Data-type projects usually have quality scoring, and low-quality data is very likely to be judged invalid or even result in an account ban.
Whenever you have time, do a few tasks—accumulate the task volume and consecutive days.

If you register using it, I’ll receive the invitation reward, and you’ll also get a newcomer bonus. It won’t affect your own earnings. If you mind, you can also just search the official website and enter directly.)
The risks that must be made clear:
The tokens haven’t been issued yet, and the airdrop ratio, valuation, and unlock rules are all unknown. Any online claims like “you can probably get a few thousand dollars” are made up.
The project team hasn’t promised that the number of tasks is proportional to the airdrop amount. Doing more doesn’t necessarily mean getting more.
Witch detection for data-collection air drops is usually very strict. Opening too many accounts, scripts, and proxies can easily result in everyone being wiped out.
A $12 million funding round ≠ the project is guaranteed to succeed. There are at least as many DePIN projects that died as there are ones still alive.
This is just “spending time to bet on a possibility,” not investment advice. Don’t put any principal into it.
My take: the track is right, the institutions are right, the cost is zero, and the airdrop is confirmed—there aren’t many projects in a year where all four conditions hold at the same time. As for whether you can really “eat the meat” in the end—nobody knows, including me.
