The screen showed that price was dumping all the way while I was being charged extremely high funding fees. My grid contract went out of bounds, accumulated a massive long position, and in the end I had to cut my losses—still down more than 460.
Then I opened a DCA Ants position. At first I was up by about 50u. But last night it suddenly surged straight up by 20%. At 7:59, I received a DCA margin top-up notification. I hadn’t even finished reading it when at 8:00 I got a liquidation notice. My Ants position was over 250u, and after liquidation I was left with a little over 20u.
This was purely me looking for a thrill. I admit it—I was honestly unable to control the urge to short it to death. But I knew it wasn’t right, so I only opened the Ants position.
After the DCA liquidation, I completely lost my mind. I directly went naked short (again, using the Ants position), and the whole night I was being driven insane by funding-fee emails like the ones shown in the image. Damn it, these funding fees are terrifying.
