🇮🇳🇮🇷 IRAN SEEKS SUPPORT FROM ONE OF TRUMP’S FRIENDS

As the war between the United States and Iran intensifies, Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian has turned to India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi, for diplomatic support.

The two met during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, at the moment when Donald Trump was threatening an even harsher response to recent attacks on American forces.

For New Delhi, the conflict creates a strategic dilemma: India maintains close ties with Washington, but it also has important economic and diplomatic connections with Tehran. According to the analysis cited by Newsweek, the uncertainty caused by the war only reinforced, for India, the need to keep the dialogue with Iran going.

Tehran’s move reveals an attempt to break out of its international isolation — and India could become an important piece in the search for a diplomatic way out of the conflict.

🌎 The war is no longer just a dispute between Washington and Tehran: it is reshaping alliances and placing powers like India at the center of the geopolitical chessboard.
