[BNB has fallen 50%—what am I thinking?]

A younger brother of mine who runs a traditional business asked me the other day whether you can still buy BTC. I told him, don’t rush—first figure out what you want to do.

He froze for a moment and said, “BNB is cheap now—it’s down from the peak by half.”

Yes, it’s down by half. So what then?

I’ve been through four market cycles. Every time the drawdown hits the right point, people say “it’s cheap.” But most people buy the dip and still keep losing. The problem has never been the price—it’s always the logic.

What does BNB’s current position—50% retraced from the high—mean historically? I’ll tell you: for truly long-term big money, this is when they start studying. Not because it fell a lot, but because this level forces real questions: has the project’s fundamentals changed? Is its ecosystem still functioning? Is it solving real needs or fake ones?

BNB has something many people haven’t really paid attention to: its burn mechanism and its linkage to the ecosystem. In plain terms, this isn’t “air.” It has real application scenarios and a value-capture logic. If you only look at the candlestick chart, then it’s basically gambling. But if you can think through its business closed loop—who’s using it, why they use it, and the cost-benefit for them—then the current price becomes a different story.

I’m not telling you to buy. I’m saying that at this point, BNB’s position is actually a great observation window: you can tell at a glance who’s truly doing the work and who’s just “messing around,” and when the market turns, it becomes obvious.

This deep adjustment is a stress test for the project team, a mindset test for holders, and a cognition test for anyone looking to enter. Only after you pass all three dimensions will you know whether that 50% drawdown is really worth it.

Have you genuinely studied the underlying logic of a project this year—or have you only been watching the rise and fall? Let me know in the comments—I want to see how many people are actually looking at the project.
