💥Once again, they’re at it—oil uses momentum to break through the $88 resistance level 📈

The Middle East just calmed down for a bit, and now the U.S. and Iran are back to exchanging blows. The U.S. previously carried out strikes on Iran’s targets on Larak Island. Iran then fired missiles at U.S. military bases inside Jordan. Trump even said there will be further responses. Concerns over the safety of oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz are heating up again.

As soon as the news broke, oil surged—breaking through the $88 level I’ve been watching. During the trading session, it even briefly topped around $89.65. International oil prices also clearly strengthened, with Brent pushing above $92 at one point.

The most important trading logic behind this move is still geopolitical risk— the Strait of Hormuz plays a crucial role in global oil transportation. If tensions continue to escalate, the market will once again add a risk premium to oil.

I’m actually not in a rush to chase it now. After the break above $88, I want to see whether it can hold. If it holds, then we can look at the $90 psychological level.

This market is writing a new script every day—crypto is still grinding, and oil is first going bullish and then quickly pulling back. 😂
