My bias is bullish, but I’m not chasing the acceleration move of $FF . The anomaly is that while the price has been rising for two straight hours, the contract position hasn’t gone out of control in sync. For now, it looks more like spot and perpetual buyers are pushing together, not like a spike forced out by a high funding rate.
From 21:00 to 22:00, Binance spot rose from 0.08981 to 0.09769. Hourly trading volume was 22.56 million coins, about an 8x increase from the previous hour. Perpetuals in the same hour closed at 0.09771 with 90.04 million in volume. From 20:45 to 22:00, open interest increased from 373 million coins to 383 million, about +2.5%. The latest funding rate is 0.005%. Price is moving up fast, but leverage positions are increasing more conservatively. The structure is bullish, but it’s already entered a high-volatility zone.
If I participate, I’ll only look at pullbacks in the 0.0975—0.1005 range, then a 15-minute close back above 0.1005 with spot volume returning. After that, only when it puts on volume and holds above 0.1023 can we say the move is continuing. If the 1-hour candle closes back below 0.0943, this acceleration structure fails, and I’ll keep watching.
