🟡 Binance Square — BTC Market Update

BTC is holding near $79K as traders watch the next breakout. $BTC is currently around $79.2K, with the $82K–$83K resistance zone remaining important. A strong break above this area could improve bullish momentum, while losing the $78.7K support could bring more downside pressure.

Underestimated Risks in the U.S. Midterm Elections?

The market is seriously underestimating the risk that the results of the U.S. midterm elections could be challenged, triggering political and legal disputes. At the same time, hedging costs on Wall Street have fallen to their lowest level of the year, and the implied volatility of S&P 500 put options for November has dropped below 15%, creating a low-cost window to buy protection early.

The probability that the election results could be disputed, or even spark political turmoil, is being severely underestimated by the market, and current pricing in the options market does not fully reflect this tail risk.

As the market calmed in August, the implied volatility of S&P 500 put options has fallen significantly from its July highs. The calmer the market, the cheaper protection becomes; but once election risk is truly priced into assets, volatility could rise rapidly, and the cost of hedging at that point would increase markedly.

The core logic is built on the current polling situation. Polls generally show Trump’s approval rating slipping, Democrats likely to regain control of the House, and Republicans expected to keep their Senate majority.

What the market is truly overlooking is not the election result itself, but the political and legal disputes that could emerge if the result is challenged. If the final outcome is unfavorable to Trump, the market is severely underestimating the likelihood that Trump would react strongly and challenge results in certain districts.

In that scenario, Trump may launch legal challenges to every “contested” district, delaying the certification process and triggering a wave of media coverage around disputes such as “what happens next” and claims that the election was “stolen.”

This political uncertainty could ultimately spill over into financial markets and drive volatility sharply higher. For markets, the most dangerous outcome is not necessarily that one side wins, but that the election result remains unconfirmed for an extended period, creating persistent uncertainty.

During lunch, I chat with friends again about stop-loss strategies. He said that recently, because he didn’t set a stop-loss, one order got stuck at 20%. Now it’s “frozen” for good.
When I first started out, I was like that too. I thought that setting a stop-loss really meant losing money. As long as you don’t sell, there’s still hope that the price will turn around and rise again. So what happened in the end? Usually, a small loss keeps dragging on, becoming a bigger loss; then a big loss turns into a deep deadlock. Finally, you don’t even want to look anymore. I gave that behavior a name: “value investing.”
Later, after suffering enough losses, I finally understood: stop-loss isn’t surrender—it’s to keep yourself alive.
Think about it: if you make ten trades—being wrong five times and right five times—then as long as every time you’re wrong the loss is small, and every time you’re right the profit is large, the overall result can still be profitable. But if you don’t use stop-loss, then just one time you’re wrong could wipe out everything you gained from the previous nine times.
In trading, survival matters more than anything else.
Many people like to see how many times other people can make money, and think that’s what being good means. But that’s not true. The truly great ones are the people who are still here after ten years, after eight years. They may not make money as fast as that, and it’s also very rare for there to be overnight legend-level “turnaround” stories—but they move steadily, and they go far.
Fast and steady—forever—is a question of choice.
Choose fast, and you might be dazzling for a moment;
Choose steady, and that’s how you reach the end.

Support for BTC is near 74400; in this area there are a lot of buy orders waiting with large volume. However, to make sure the orders fill as reliably as possible, bro(s) should set the price a bit higher at the two levels 75444 and 74444—go long.
In the short term, the chance of recovery will be close to the 75 area

Do you guys think we should suggest that #Binance add a haha button too? I was scrolling #square reading the news and came across a bunch of traders going long and short without a stop loss, then crying that they’re about to get liquidated. I feel both sorry for them and amused — that’s clearly gambling, yet they’re still so stubborn 😂😂😂. Right, guys? Or are you all gambling too, so none of you dare to drop a haha here????

How are real trading and gambling different, so why do so many people often confuse them???? If you make money but you don’t even know how you made it, no plan, no strategy, no risk management..... you just press the buy button and get lucky. This isn’t a skill. It’s your luck, and no one stays lucky forever. Trading isn’t just about whether one trade is right or wrong. It’s about having a plan, managing risk, maintaining discipline, and being able to repeat that process many times. The amount of money you earn doesn’t always tell you whether you made a good trade. The process is what reveals that. This is exactly where people fail to recognize discipline and strategy used to distinguish between trading and gambling—where most people make mistakes. #btc #45NgayTuDoTaiChinh #BinanceVietnamSquare

This week the market was pretty lively too. BTC moved up from 75k to 80k, then got slammed down, then pushed back up again. Every few thousand dollars it kept swinging up and down, and both the long and short sides had people getting liquidated. Looking through the comments, some were bragging about profits, some were ranting, and some were pretending to be dead. Every weekend is more or less like this. As for me, I barely did anything this week. I’m still holding spot, and only put a little capital into two swing trades, making a bit of pocket money. In the past, if I ran into this kind of sideways market, I would have jumped in every single day; if I didn’t trade for one day, my hands would start itching. Not anymore. I’m older now, my nerve is smaller, and I understand that there are some gains that really aren’t meant for me to chase. A lot of people asked me how the market will move next week. Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve been trading for so many years, and the longer I do it, the less I dare to predict anything. Just when I think I’ve spotted the trend, the market turns around and slaps me in the face. Just when I think it’s definitely going to drop, it goes right ahead and rises to show me otherwise. In the end, I realized that being right about the market a few times is nothing special. What really matters is being able to survive in this market for 5 years, 10 years. As for next week, let next week worry about itself. Tonight, just eat a good meal and go to bed a little early. Tomorrow the market opens, and a new week begins again. #45NgayTuDoTaiChinh

The Fear & Greed Index has hit 71 and people are already calling the top? Don’t let yourself be led around by the nose! 71 and it’s already called greedy????? Let’s look back at the past * Bull market peak in 2021: 95 * October 2025, BTC hit 126k: 88 * Right now: 71 is only just stepping into the greed zone So what is real greed? It’s when the vegetable sellers at the market ask you what coin you’re buying. It’s when the taxi driver is also sitting there discussing K-lines with you. It’s when even your mother wants to put money in. That’s when it can truly be called greed. 😂 And what about now? There are still tons of people calling for “technical pullback in a downtrend” and “pushing the price up to dump.” The short side is still stubborn, while the long side is still hesitating. The market usually rises amid doubt, and ends when everyone is euphoric. There are still many people doubting like this now, so in my opinion, it’s still far from the end. This time in the latest run-up, were you the type to sit on the sidelines watching price run, FOMO in halfway and buy the top, or manage to catch a nice juicy chunk? Be honest 😆 I’ll confess first: I’m type 3 — I securely took a chunk in the middle and locked in about 15% profit. At 62k I didn’t dare buy the bottom because I was afraid it might keep dropping. At 78k I started reducing my position because I was afraid of a reversal and getting hit. I didn’t catch either end in full, but I did get the middle pretty solidly. Honestly, trading is like eating sugarcane. It can’t be sweet from start to finish. If you can just eat the sweetest middle part, you’re already ahead of more than 80% of traders. Recently, geopolitical tensions have shown signs of cooling off, and oil prices have accordingly fallen sharply by 8%. In addition, US economic data also appears to be slowing down, creating further conditions for the Fed to cut interest rates and reinforcing market expectations that rates will be lowered. After Trump publicly endorsed the crypto market, $BTC immediately surged up by 25%. At present, while BTC has not yet broken through its previous peak, #ETH and #sol have both already surpassed the most recent key resistance zone. Given the current situation, as long as BTC cannot effectively break out the 82800 zone, and after any pullback it also fails to rise above 74500, the outlook still leans toward a downside scenario. However, with long-term short positions, you must always stay alert to the possibility that the market may enter a bull market. Therefore, in the period ahead, the immediate outlook should still favor a sideways/range-bound and accumulation scenario, allowing the market to digest the buying side’s excitement. At this point, it may be best to remain patient and wait for the trading range to form clearly, then use it to execute a few trades. That alone should be enough to make a decent profit.
