Nubia's NaviX Ultra, which runs on the Doubao phone assistant, has received a network access permit from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is scheduled to go on sale in September. According to PANews, the device has completed the compliance process from large-model filing to terminal network access.
The phone is described as the second-generation Doubao phone and is positioned as a mass-produced flagship AI agent phone. It comes in black, pink, white, and blue, and some models include an orange physical AI button. The camera module is supplied by Sunny Optical, and the Doubao phone model has completed filing for on-device generative AI on mobile phones with the Cyberspace Administration of China. It was listed alongside Apple Intelligence, Huawei Xiaoyi, vivo BlueLM, and Xiaomi HyperOS.
