Fat Donglai founder Yu Donglai posted the retailer's operating data on his personal social media account, according to ETNet. The data showed that Fat Donglai's sales in the first eight months of 2026 exceeded RMB 19.5 billion, up 26.98% year on year.

Supermarket sales reached RMB 10.7 billion, while the Xuchang Times Square store generated more than RMB 4.4 billion in sales.
