Lately, there have been many different things being said about me and my team. I don’t plan to respond point by point.
What I want to say is something else:
I have absolute confidence in the business we’re in. This confidence doesn’t come from me personally, but from the breakthroughs that mathematics, cryptography, and artificial intelligence themselves have already achieved. Once these breakthroughs happen, they are irreversible; they don’t change according to anyone’s will or any institution’s will.
Over the past decade or more, this industry has gone through countless “this time it really is over.” Each time, after the noise clears, the technology continues to move forward. Policies will change, public opinion will change, but mathematics won’t. All eight billion people on Earth will eventually, directly or indirectly, use the services built on these technologies.
Our mission has never changed: to make these services reliable and polished enough so that when that day comes, people choose us.
