Afternoon market update: BTC is temporarily holding above $78,000. In the past 24 hours it’s up about 0.86%, but macro variables remain the main source of disruption. CoinDesk reports that ETH, SOL, TRX, and DOGE are weakening, and the market is showing divergence under relatively hawkish Fed expectations. My view is that the sideways movement after the big rally in August doesn’t necessarily mean the trend has ended—it looks more like the market is repricing interest rates and risk premiums between longs and shorts. I won’t chase rallies in the short term. Instead, I’ll focus on whether the $78,000 support and the $79,250 intraday high can be convincingly broken. If volume can’t keep up, volatility in altcoins may continue to amplify. The above is for market observation only and does not constitute investment advice.
