The weird thing is here.

Yesterday, the ETF saw net inflows of $216.7 million. In theory, this should feel really uplifting. But $BTC is moving in a way that doesn’t have that “everyone’s finally at ease” kind of lightness.

I’ve had a pretty crude intuition from watching the chart for two years: when the rally is truly strong, the face looks relaxed.

Right now, this segment feels more like stability on the surface, while the people underneath are actually all tense.

After I fed DouDou in the early morning, I checked the chart again.

$BTC is hovering around 78,762. The 24-hour high tapped 79,250. It’s just a hair away from 80,000, but there’s no decisive breakthrough feeling—like someone has been trying keys at the door, turning a few times but still not getting in 😅

What’s more uncomfortable is that the news is adding points, but the market sentiment on the chart hasn’t fully caught up.

The ETF is bringing in real money, which suggests the outside allocation demand is still there. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing—I’ll admit it’s somewhat favorable for the medium term.

But on the derivatives side, trading volume is still 8.1 times that of spot. At a time like this, I get a bit uneasy.

Because it indicates that this current uptrend isn’t just driven by more buyers—there are also a lot of participants using leverage.

When there are too many people, emotions get squeezed.

When emotions get squeezed, the price action becomes more likely to get tangled.

My own view is very clear: I’m bullish, but I don’t want to chase.

If it can truly hold above 80,000, I’ll feel like this ETF inflow is finally being digested seriously by the market.

Before that, I’d rather treat it as: “external capital is propping it up, while internal positions are still testing each other.”

The most annoying thing about this kind of chart is that you think it’s about to surge—it just stalls for you.

You think it’s about to pull back—then capital steps in to catch it. Really, that’s the kind of “thank you” you end up saying.

So on my side, it’s more like lightly holding and waiting for confirmation—I don’t want to squeeze in when the doorway is the most crowded.

Ladies, do you have this feeling too? The news is clearly somewhat warm, yet the candlestick chart still makes it hard to feel steady.

I might also be wrong—this is just my own judgment. $BTC #BTC
