Take-Two stock getting wrecked today after BofA basically said the GTA reveal was cool but not exactly groundbreaking. Classic "buy the rumor, sell the news" setup.

When analysts start with "impressive, but..." you know the hype train just derailed. Market was pricing in something revolutionary and got... exactly what was expected. No surprise = no premium.

This is what happens when expectations run too hot. Everyone knew GTA 6 was coming. Everyone knew it would look amazing. The bar was set at the moon and they delivered earth orbit.

Interesting to watch how gaming stocks trade on narrative vs fundamentals. Take-Two will print money when this game drops, but right now traders are realizing they front-ran the excitement by about 18 months.

If you're long TTWO for the actual release cycle, this dip is noise. If you were trading the reveal event, you just learned an expensive lesson about consensus trades.
