XAUT hovered around 4424 all day, with a high of 4460 and a low of 4388—an amplitude of less than 2%. My system gave a “wait and see” signal, and my grid orders only got filled for two small bites. In this kind of market, not trading is the best trading—I've said that sentence many times. But every time I manage to resist the urge and not touch it, I still feel anxious.
BTC and ETH, on the other hand, are a bit more interesting. One is at 78300, the other at 2465, and both are contracting volume while chopping sideways. ETH has been grinding around 2400 for almost two days. I didn’t see any obvious changes in DeFi fund flows, but it still feels like something is being built up.
Back to XAUT. Over the past few days, risk-averse capital has been quietly moving into the gold token. The amount isn’t large, but it’s steady. The system’s bullish signals are still there; it just hasn’t hit the trigger level to add positions yet. I tell myself that patience is a skill—you can wait. Chasing in would just make me another “scampered” blade of grass.
