Strategy buys back BTC again this week—does the $600 million MSTR fundraising start to flow out?
The latest 8-K shows that from 8/24 to 8/30, Strategy increased its holdings by 4,603 BTC, spending about $369.7 million, with an average purchase price of $80,318.
It currently holds 845,050 BTC in total, with a total cost of about $63.73 billion and an average cost of $75,412.
During the same period, the company issued about 4.53 million shares of MSTR via ATM, raising about $603 million. Of that, $369.7 million was used directly to buy BTC; another $151.8 million was used to repurchase STRC; $50.7 million was used to pay STRC dividends; and $30 million was added to USD Cash.
As of 8/30, Strategy had about $5.1 billion in USD Reserve plus $1.61 billion in Cash.
There was zero buying in the prior week, but this week it immediately swept in nearly $369.7 million worth of BTC.
