This week, the market is pretty lively too. BTC went from 75k up to 80k, then got pushed back down, and after that rallied again. Every few thousand points, the price swings up and down continuously, and both the long and short sides have people getting their accounts wiped. Scroll through the comments for a round—some people brag about profits, some curse, and some pretend to be dead. Every weekend is pretty much the same.
As for me, this week I almost didn’t do anything. I’m still holding Spot. I only used a small amount of capital to make two swing trades and earned a bit of money for groceries. In the past, when I met markets like this sideways one, I’d probably jump in every day, and if I didn’t trade for a day, I’d get itchy. But now I don’t feel that way anymore. I’m older now, my guts are smaller, and I’ve come to understand that some coins aren’t meant to be chased or forced to make money.
Many people ask me what direction the market will take next week. To be honest, I don’t know.
I’ve been trading for years, and the more time goes by, the less I dare to predict. I used to think I could spot the trend, and then the market would just swing around and slap me in the face. I thought it would definitely drop, and it would go on to rise just to show me.
In the end, I realized that being right about the market a few times isn’t that impressive. What’s truly skillful is being able to survive in this market for 5 years, 10 years. As for next week—let’s think about that next week. Tonight, just enjoy a good meal and go to bed a little earlier.
Tomorrow the market opens, and a new week begins again.

First, I’ll confess: I’m the third type—I take a safer slice in the middle, locking in about 15% profit.
At 62k, I didn’t dare catch the bottom because I was afraid it would drop more. Then at 78k, I started reducing my position because I feared a reversal and getting hit. Neither side caught the full move, but the middle chunk I ate quite solidly.
To be real, trading is just like eating sugarcane. It can’t be sweet from start to finish. If you can manage to bite into the sweetest middle segment, that alone puts you ahead of over 80% of traders.

Recently, geopolitical tensions have shown signs of cooling off, and oil prices have accordingly fallen sharply by 8%. In addition, US economic data also appears to be slowing down, creating further conditions for the Fed to cut interest rates and reinforcing market expectations that rates will be lowered.
After Trump publicly endorsed the crypto market, $BTC immediately surged up by 25%.
At present, while BTC has not yet broken through its previous peak, #ETH and #sol have both already surpassed the most recent key resistance zone.
Given the current situation, as long as BTC cannot effectively break out the 82800 zone, and after any pullback it also fails to rise above 74500, the outlook still leans toward a downside scenario. However, with long-term short positions, you must always stay alert to the possibility that the market may enter a bull market.
Therefore, in the period ahead, the immediate outlook should still favor a sideways/range-bound and accumulation scenario, allowing the market to digest the buying side’s excitement. At this point, it may be best to remain patient and wait for the trading range to form clearly, then use it to execute a few trades. That alone should be enough to make a decent profit.
