🔄 The Zakura team presented an innovative set of libraries for Zcash $ZEC
The Zakura team has released an open-source collection of cryptographic and protocol libraries for the Zcash ecosystem. They reduce the time needed to prepare a private transaction in a wallet from 3 seconds to less than 200 ms.
Proof generation is now more than 14 times faster on mobile devices, Sinsemilla hashing is 21 times faster, and zk-SNARK verification is 4–8 times faster.
These optimizations do not require protocol updates and are already available to developers under a dual MIT/Apache 2.0 license.
